Not Gonna Let this Rain Get Me Down!!!

Hello Everyone! Today I hesitated about blogging! Today the kids were all over the place, had lots of things to do, had to get some work done, etc!!! So I had to take a moment to breathe and to get in the word of God and Listened to some worship music and I feel much better now!!!! I am SMH now because it is so easy to get in a depressed state and not want to do anything and fill up with negativity but GOD!!!! I can just think of his goodness and his love, his keeping power, where he has brought me and I just get a renewed strength!!!! I encourage you to not get consumed with the things you cant control or don't understand. I know that might not be easy for every person but dig deep to the place where you know something greater than yourself {GOD} stepped in on your behalf and things changed!!! Speak life over yourself everyday! For example: {Say it out loud or in front of a mirror, and say it til you mean it} I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! I WILL NOT QUIT! I AM SUCCESSFUL! I WILL MAKE IT! I AM GONNA BE WHO GOD SAYS I AM! SMILE!!!!!

OK! So Dinner! I took out some chicken wings! I'm trying to cook a more healthy diet for my family so I'm not gonna fry the wings even though I want to! So this meal is gonna take like 45 minutes but you can sit down and meditate while everything is working. So I seasoned my wings with some seasoning salt and some granulated garlic!!! Gotta have my garlic! Place in a baking dish and bake @ 350 degrees for like 60mins. {Home made rice o roni} Thin take maybe 5 spaghetti noodles and brake into small pieces like the size of Rice. Get you a pot and put some oil in bottom and heat it up. Add one cup of rice to oil and add noodles. coat with oil and let start to brown. Add one tsp of chicken base and 2 cups of water. If you have stock add 2 cups of stock. Saute a veggie of your choice. I'm sauteing broccoli w/ a little butter and garlic. That's pretty much it! Chicken Wings, Rice Pilaf {Rice O Roni}, Sauteed Broccoli! I am sharing my dinners with you to encourage you to try new things! You don't have to be a chef or have a culinary degree to cook really good meals and monitor what is in your food! I average about $25.00 per week @ the grocery store and maybe one week out of the month I spend like $45.00 to stock up on extras and to keep staple items! You can eat like you go out @ home! I am going to share some of my catering business's favorites so if you have some entertaining you wont feel intimidated or you can just hire me!!!! SMILE!!!

I hope that you can see I am a real person! I try to be as transparent as possible so people can relate to me! I am a work in progress! I have not arrived and still daily have to encourage myself! So I hope that my blog encourages you and you keep checking back with me! I just wanted to take this moment to tell you that: You Are Special! There is a Treasure inside of you! You are Beautifully & Wonderfully Made! Your Past Does Not Determine Your Future! I Love You! Go ahead and smile!!! I'm smiling to!!! Make the best of the rest of your day!!!! God Bless!!!
