Hello everyone! Today is the day that the Lord have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. My son woke up sick again this morning. I am so glad that I personally know that the Lord is a healer, a deliverer, a savior, a provider, a way maker, a help, a friend, a father, a mother & whatever else I need him to be. Today he is all of that and more. I can thank him even though my son still has symptoms but I know the manifestation of his healing is on the way! I have even got the baby praying! As parents we have to teach our kids foundational principles like prayer, respect, manors, & love. I know my parents gave me the best that they had for me and did what they knew but I wish I knew the Lord then like I know him now. I know it was a set up from the father {God} because he had to keep me even when I didn't want to be kept. Childlike faith is so amazing! Me and my hubby laugh @ our boys because we tell them "NO" and there first instinct isn't to quit or give up its to do what it takes to get a "Yes". I gotta get to that place and you do to!!! Lets get there together!!! AMEN!!!
So whats for dinner??/ I got a banging deal on some NY Strip steaks.... 10oz steaks for less that $2.00 and they weren't even expired store just had to many and marked all of them down. So I'm gonna grill some steaks and saute some green beans with garlic. I want some mashed potatoes but hubby hates potatoes so I guess I will make some beef flavored rice o roni {Homemade}So the quick rundown. In a saucepan add some oil or butter and let it melt or heat up. Add one cup of rice and take four spaghetti noodles and break them into small pieces the size of rice and thrown all into pot and heat it up and stir and coat with oil. Once rice starts to brown add either 2 cups of beef broth or like me add 2 cups of water and a tsp of beef base. Let it simmer and cook until rice is fully cooked about 12 minutes. Take a fork and fluff finished rice and it should be individual grains of rice. That's about it. Go ahead and hop in the kitchen and whip up some dinner.
