Lawd!

Hello Everyone! Just wanted to take a moment to encourage everyone!!! I have noticed that the more I say that I am tired the more tired I get. So now during my day I continue to say "I am going to make it", I thank the Lord for being my keeper. My son had a rough morning. He was really sick and throwing up and he was miserable. I know that God hears my prayers and that he is a healer because he truly rocked my baby to sleep and when he woke up he was all better!!


Today, after dealing with my sick baby I went to work with hubby and helped out for a while! I love being in the kitchen even when its not my own!! I guess its something about all the equipment and the tools that excites me! I guess its the chef in me! Didn't cook dinner tonight ate some Cheerios with my son and some spaghetti that both my boys picked over! Nothing like some half chewed food from your kids. I cant promise I'm gonna cook tomorrow so maybe Monday I will have to throw down for the family!!!

The Joy of the Lord is my strength!

Hello everyone!!! So I have been preparing myself for bible study today! My Apostle and Pastor have been kinda pushing the people in our ministry to walk in there callings....... Last week everyone had 5 minutes to get up and give a word that was from the Lord!!! So amazing how everyone had different scriptures but the word kept building on what each person was saying! We were truly on one accord! The Lord is so strategic if you listen. Sometimes things are so loud that we miss the still small voice!!! I encourage you to tune in to what the spirit is saying. Don't get consumed in the things in life outside of your control. If you are burdened with issues that you cant fix.... No need to turn your beautiful hair gray!!! Just cast your cares on the Lord!!! So just in case I get called on I will be ready with a word..... I am learning to be more sensitive to the spirit of God & I hope you do the same!!!

So what's for dinner: Hubby keeps asking for Chinese food so Imma make General Tso's Chicken, Fried Rice, & Garlic Green Beans. I will be honest, Chinese is a little more difficult than most of our everyday meals. If you really want the recipes your gonna have to email me or wait for the cookbook!!!! I will just tell you its scrum-dittle-umptious.

Hello Everyone! I hope that everyone has a had a wonderful start to the week! I have been spending lots of time praying and meditating and making some decisions! I keep feeling in my spirit that I need to write the vision and make it plain! I have wrote down goals before but I feel like in this season I need to revisit this! I encourage you to do the same! Spoiled, Spoiled, Spoiled!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!! This is the day that the Lord have made so I will rejoice and be glad in it!!!! Service this morning was absolutely awesome!!! The presence of God is so rejuvenating!!! I feel restored!!! I encourage you to allow the Lord to minster to you exactly where you are.

So first I have to share the stupid thing I did!!! First have to share that shoe carnival had a grand opening in Cary, NC on Saturday and they had a free $10 gift card for the first 100 customers!!! I got up @ the crack of dawn to get my baby some sandals!!! So I got the gift card and got my baby a free pair of sandals to finish the summer out in style! So back to my stupid thing I did!!! Please try not to laugh to hard!!! So my hubby always picks @ me and says I always take my shirt off when I cook but I wear Cami's and it saves my shirt cuz I always make a mess and grease is the worst to get out of shirts. So I was making our usual Saturday breakfast and I was trying to wash dishes and make grits and pancakes. So I took my pancake pan off the stove for a few seconds to mix up more batter. I without thinking put it on the sink. So, I was ready for my pan and put it back on the stove. Poured the batter and went to wash my hands, bumped the sink with my stomach and burned the crap out of my stomach!!!! OMG right where my waist band is. Of course my kids keep touching it and my pants keep rubbing it!!!! Did i mention it really hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I kinda been a slacker with dinner. Saturday I had a catering gig and had to meet with a clients so I made hubby some homemade pimento cheese & not mention I made 600 meatballs so I made a few extra for my boys. My hubby was the guy that said pimento cheese was so nasty until he had homemade cheese!!! My client said the same thing last night and @ the end of or meeting she was converted!! So with all being said I have decided I'm going to have to take all the recipes that I have rolling around in my head and with a few encouraging words and stories and make a cook book fit for New York Times Best Seller List!!!!!!

Today! After church we went to the grocery store!!! You may think I am crazy but I tell you everytime I go into the grocery store I pray and ask the Lord for favor and let me tell you I got it today!!!! I got 5 days worth of dinners w/ side, 2 jumbo   packs of diapers, couple snacks for the kids & the ever important apple sauce for $32.00!!!!! YES!!!!!! I had like 6 bags of groceries!!!!! The cashier was like WOW!!!! I was @ Food Lion to!!!!!!! Once I go through the paper I will post my favorite deals!!

I made cabbage, mac & cheese, and pork chops! I cheated today we ate Kraft deluxe! It was so yummy to! My tip for the day on cabbage: to stay away from cooking with pork but to get that loved up taste, in a large pot us some old oil that you have fried some stuff in and cover the bottom of your pan. Add your cabbage and saute and keep your cabbage moving stir and let cabbage get coated with oil. Add 2 tsp of chicken base to your pan and stir. Place a top on your cabbage and turn it down to low and let it do what it do!!!! Stir every 10 mins or so and cook it until its tender enough for you. I let mine go for 30 mins. Nice and tender. I just sauteed my pork chops with some steak seasoning! That was dinner! Hubby was really happy! Food must have been good because he was eating out of the pot as we were packing up leftovers!!!
